My name is Melaniya Shevchenko, and I was born in 2010. I am the sixth of nine children in our large family. Due to my birth weight exceeding 4 kilograms, my arrival was complicated, resulting in a birth injury that affected my left shoulder and arm.

In our family, we also have a sister with a disability, and our parents are registered caregivers. Most of our financial resources go toward food and essential needs, so we try to limit spending on new clothing.
