WRAPPED IN LOVE
Winter bites with its cold, but nothing chills the soul more than feeling forgotten. For the children and youth of Center Bebiko, warmth isn’t just about jackets—it’s about knowing that someone cares. Thanks to TM Hugs, these kids now have brand-new winter coats to shield them from the frost and remind them that they are not alone.
This winter, the gift of warmth is more than just fabric — it’s love, care, and a little spark of hope.
For 9-year-old Polina, this gift was extra special. The happiest child in her big family, Polina has Down syndrome and a heart full of sunshine. She loves helping her mother, a strong woman raising sixchildren while working tirelessly. The war has brought new struggles – rising prices, shrinking wages – but her parents push through, never complaining. They do everything they can to provide for their children. When volunteers handed Polina a warm winter coat, she immediately put it on, twirled in front of the mirror, and giggled, “Mom, am I a princess?” Her mother pulled her into a hug, hiding the tears in her eyes. For her, this jacket wasn’t just a piece of clothing – it was a sign that kindness still exists, that even in difficult times, they are not forgotten.
